Diablo 4 Season 5 jewelry drop rate hotfix coming soon
Looking for Legendaries but finding yourself drowning in rings? You’re not alone!
Important!
As of August 9, Blizzard has finally resolved the issue of an excessive amount of jewelry dropping compared to other items.
A Reddit user, RektJunkie, recently posted on r/diablo4 asking if the drop rate for jewelry has increased. They’ve been searching for a two-handed weapon and pants for hours without success but have found plenty of rings — around 150 for every pair of pants. Sounds ridiculous, right?
Even though the number of rings could be exaggerated, RektJunkie is just one of those many who are “lucky” to have collected so many accessories. EstablishmentOwn456 had a similar experience, noting that it seems like rings and amulets drop 100 times more often than other gear, with a staggering 80% of their legendary item drops being jewelry.
It might sound trivial, but this issue has grown so big that some players are even poking fun at Sonic for gathering all those rings. But not everyone’s feeling so optimistic, though; some newcomers who started playing Diablo 4 in Season 5 are very frustrated with all these bugs, so they become less hyped for the upcoming expansion. Either way, the only good news is that Blizzard is aware of this problem, so a hotfix should be available soon!
With that in mind, did you notice a significant increase in jewelry drops? What kind of bugs have you encountered since the release of Season 5? Share your opinion in the comments!
