Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 1 brings fresh content with new maps, weapons, skins and modes. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect.

The new Season is coming soon, and there has been a lot of official and leaked information about the content in Season 1. Namely, there is a trailer for the season showing off new maps, skins, and weapons in action, giving us a glimpse of the Season’s atmosphere. 

Also we have a Roadmap showing all the new content coming in Season 1.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 release date

Season 1 starts on November 14, 2024, with new content across various game modes and the highly anticipated Warzone update. While no exact time is confirmed, the release likely aligns with Call of Duty’s usual noon EST updates.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 new maps

Three maps launch with Season 1 on November 14, each offering unique environments and gameplay challenges.

• Extraction: Set on a waterside helipad, this 6v6 map emphasizes cover-based tactics with helicopters and other aerial scenery.
• Heirloom: A blend of action and strategy, Heirloom features 6v6 and 2v2 gameplay in a museum setting with hidden spaces perfect for ambushes.
• Hideout: This fast-paced map, filled with small buildings and corridors, delivers adrenaline-fueled encounters ideal for fans of close-quarters combat.

Three more maps – Hacienda, Racket and Nuketown Holiday will join the game later during season 1.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 new weapons

In the promotional art, you can see characters holding new weapons, including Ak5 (Automatkarbin 5) rifle and Minebea PM-9 Submachine Gun. 

The Barrett .50cal Sniper Rifle was also spotted in the Season 1 trailer.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 new operator

 Later in the Season 1, players can expect the introduction of a new operator — The Replacer.

There is also a new Black Sell Operator coming in season 1.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 new skins 

This season’s Battle Pass is packed with exclusive skins and cosmetics. As you progress, unlock a variety of operator outfits and weapon skins in the Season 1 theme. Here are some of the skins that were spotted in the trailer:

Black Ops 6 Season 1 Ranked Play

Ranked Play finally arrives in Black Ops 6 for competitive Call of Duty fans. Ranked matchmaking will allow players to test their skills against opponents of similar skill levels. Ranked Play will become available on November 21. One of the best rewards includes exclusive Ranked Play skins.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 new game modes and events

Black Ops 6 is known for its range of game modes, and Season 1 looks to expand the lineup. While modes like Infected have already made their mark, fan favorites like Prop Hunt will return. Treyarch may also release holiday-themed modes and special events to keep gameplay fresh throughout the season.

Black OPs 6 Season 1 new Perks

2 new Perks are coming with Season 1:

• Shadow – Makes you undetectable to enemy traps and mines. This can be used to sneak into enemy territory and strike from the back.
• Shrapnel Radar – When you deal blast damage to enemies, they will be revealed on your minimap. Another way to gain information about your enemies.

Black OPs 6 Season 1 new Scorestreak

Season 1 is going to bring a new Scorestreak called Hand Cannon.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 Warzone update

Warzone gets it’s own update with the introduction of weapons from Black Ops 6 and a new map Area 99 that takes inspiration from Nuketown. Warzone will also integrate the new Omnimovement mechanics from BO6 into the game as well. Players can expect even more content from Black Ops 6 to appear in Warzone on November 14 with the release of Season 1.
