Bo6 new Zombies map The Tomb

Treyarch is dropping an all-new Zombies map, The Tomb, at the start of Season 2. Following the events at Citadelle des Morts, characters Weaver, Grey, Carver, and Maya head to an ancient excavation site to secure the Sentinel Artifact. Set in catacombs dating back to 2500 B.C.E., the map blends history with mystery for a chilling new experience.
The Tomb’s Main Quest launches with Season 02 on January 28. Completing it earns the “X91 Ice-Pike” Wonder Weapon Skin, a Project Janus replica of the legendary “Staff of Ice,” along with 5,000 XP and a unique Calling Card for those who finish before Directed Mode drops.
Black Ops 6 The Tomb main areas
Prepare for the perilous depths of The Tomb with this narrative-focused primer on its key locations. As for its mysteries? Those are yours to uncover.
Dig Site
The surface-level Dig Site serves as your entry point. Strange glowing runes hint at portals to the subterranean world. A massive stone face lies half-buried in the pit, roped off and long forgotten, while a toppled pillar rests nearby. Climb the crumbling stairs and scaffolding to explore further, but beware—you don’t want to share the fate of the headless statue in the upper tiers.
Neolithic Catacombs and Ossuary
Venture into the Neolithic Catacombs, where cave paintings and ancient passageways chart the evolution of civilizations long past. Deeper within, the Ossuary reveals a macabre transition to stone-built halls, with skull stacks and bone altars evoking an eerie reverence.
Tombs
Lined with statues of warriors and friezes of hoplites battling bulls, the Tombs showcase the ruins of a once-pristine vault. Shafts of sunlight break through a crumbled ceiling, casting light on the remnants of ancient grandeur.
Shrine of the Hierophants
This candlelit sanctuary honors priests who delved too deeply into sacred mysteries. Vaulted ceilings and carved battle friezes adorn the space, while arrow traps guard stairways lined with macabre chains and skulls.
Subterranean Temple and Deep Excavation
Descend further to the sprawling Subterranean Temple, where scattered pillars circle a rocky peninsula known as the Deep Excavation. Faint sunlight filters through cracks in the cavern roof, illuminating this mysterious place of worship.
Doorway to Nowhere and Beyond
Dare to press on, uncovering the enigmatic Doorway to Nowhere and the ominous Dark Aether Nexus.
Black Ops 6 The Tomb new enemies
The Tomb’s denizens include decayed laborers, worshipers, and armored guards, their skeletal remains and mummified forms hinting at an ancient purpose. While familiar undead roam these halls, these figures suggest the site’s immense significance—and leave questions about what they unearthed and whom they served.
Black Ops 6 The Tomb Shock Mimic
Masquerading as useful items, Shock Mimics spring their trap when approached, using tentacles and razor-sharp claws to drag victims in for a jolt-filled bite. Their distortion camouflage scrambles radar and vision, adding an extra layer of danger to their already brutal attack.

Black Ops 6 The Tomb new Wonder Weapon Staff of Ice
This ancient marvel unleashes freezing blasts to slow and immobilize enemies with a devastating AoE attack for crowd control. Beyond its offensive power, the Staff can fire a precision shot to revive downed allies from afar. Its origins remain shrouded in mystery, but its potential is undeniable.

Black Ops 6 The Tomb: other features
Arrow Trap
Overwhelmed by zombies? Activate the Arrow Trap to unleash energy darts that devastate anything in their path. Just remember to slide through quickly to avoid becoming a victim yourself.
Aetheric Lanterns
These glowing Dark Aether chandeliers aren’t just for atmosphere—use precise aim to shatter them, raining Aetheric fire on anything caught below.
Black Ops 6 Zombies season 2 new Perk-a-Cola: Death Perception
Making its return from Black Ops 4, Death Perception lets you detect enemies through walls and obstacles via glowing outlines. For its Bo6 debut, it gains new Augments to enhance your awareness, making it invaluable in the tight corridors of The Tomb. Research its Augments to uncover hidden loot, deal critical damage, and expand your field of perception.

With a fast fire rate and impressive damage at close range, this fan-favorite WWII weapon delivers high recoil that can be managed with controlled bursts or hip-fire. Its magazine holds 32 rounds across 4 mags. Customize it with optics, barrels, underbarrels, stock, and other attachments. Use Extended Mags, Scavenger Perk, or an Assault Pack Field Upgrade to maintain ammo in longer fights.
Cypher 091
The Cypher 091 is a full-auto assault rifle, available on the season 2 Battle Pass Page 8 HVT Tier. With a slower fire rate but excellent handling and mobility, this versatile weapon performs well at a variety of ranges. Its 30-round magazine (3 mags total) allows for efficient combat. Attachments include optics, rear grips, magazines, and more. With minimal muzzle smoke, great recoil control, and fast reloads, the Cypher 091 excels in quick target acquisition and adaptability across different playstyles.
Feng 82
The Feng 82 is a full-auto light machine gun, found in season 2 Battle Pass Page 3 HVT Tier. Known for its accuracy and handling, it offers a more aggressive LMG option, especially for players who want to stay on the frontline without sacrificing firepower. The Feng 82 has a slower rate of fire, but its 30-round magazines (with 5 total) offer reliable ammo before needing a reload. This LMG’s precision and recoil control, along with a range of attachments to mitigate vertical recoil, make it effective in eliminating enemies up to 50 meters away.
TR2

This weapon combines speed and precision with exceptional handling, making it perfect for fast-moving sharpshooters. Its rapid re-centering allows for quick follow-up shots, while its range makes it deadly against unarmored targets up to 100 meters away. Whether used with a long-range optic or close-range, the TR2 offers an easy-to-use solution for precision and mobility.

Crossbow Attachment
The Crossbow Attachment is a unique Underbarrel add-on for Assault Rifles, SWAT 5.56, and AEK-973 Marksman Rifles, available as a season 2 Battle Pass Page 7 reward. It introduces a steady upward recoil that can be controlled by slightly pressing downward during sustained fire to maintain accuracy.
Binary Trigger
The Binary Trigger for the Tanto .22 SMG, also a Fire Mod Attachment, allows you to change the weapon’s firing mode from full-auto to semi-auto. This specialized function fires a round when the trigger is pulled and again when it’s released, enabling rapid fire capabilities. Note that this attachment blocks both Barrel and Underbarrel attachments. Available as an event reward.
Belt-Fed Attachment
The Belt-Fed Attachment, available as an event reward, can be used on LMGs. This Magazine Attachment feeds an extremely large amount of ammo to the weapon, allowing for sustained fire. However, keep an eye on overheating, as the weapon will need to cool off before you can continue your barrage.
