Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is steadily going trough its first week after launch. The developers however don’t stop here and share news about new content coming soon. The infected mode 3 maps and a season 1 sneak peak has been revealed recently. Let’s take a look at what’s next for Black Ops 6.
Black Ops 6 Season 1 release date and details
Season 01 arrives on November 14, bringing fresh Multiplayer maps, new Zombies content, and the addition of Omnimovement mechanics in Warzone. Whether you’re a returning fan or new to Black Ops, the season launch promises action-packed content across all game modes.

The data mined Firing Range map is expected to be among the new content added in Season 1. However Activision still does not confirm a full list of new content for the season, so stay tuned for more news on that!

Black Ops 6 new content: Infected mode available now!
Just in time for Halloween, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 brings back the fan-favorite Infected mode. Featuring the new Omnimovement system, this revamped version of Infected ramps up the action with one player starting as the “infected”. They must convert every survivor before the timer runs out. The survivors must stay alive and avoid joining the ranks of the undead in this high-speed take on a classic mode.

Nuketown
Nuketown returns in its original 1950s style, capturing the retro look and tight layout that made it a classic in Call of Duty history. This remastered version keeps every detail, from parked cars to mannequin-filled homes, for a nostalgic yet enhanced experience. This map is perfect for fast, close-quarters combat in Multiplayer mode and will be available starting November 1.

Area 99
Area 99 is the latest Call of Duty: Warzone map set near Nuketown in a classified government zone. From a mannequin assembly plant to partially built homes reminiscent of Nuketown, Area 99 is packed with secrets and tactical opportunities. This new map expands the lore and adds dynamic gameplay elements in Warzone. The map will launch with Season 1 on November 14.
