BO6 meta weapons for any situation

Let’s begin by analyzing map types to identify the best weapon type for different situations.

Large size maps

For large maps, Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles are always go-to options. Some players love bringing their SMGs, but your K/D ratio will most likely be much worse than usual.

Medium size maps

For medium size maps, you can always rely on Assault Rifles, like the AK-74 or XM-4, and SMGs, such as the Jackal PDW or C9. New players can, of course, equip the Jackal or AK-74, but if you’ve already played a lot, focus on the C9 or XM-4.

Small size maps

We recommend only the Marine SP or C9 for small size maps in Black Ops 6, as these weapons are the best for close-range combat.

Best Black Ops 6 loadouts

We’ve decided on the types, and now it’s time to look at the loadouts we can put together. We’ll go over general tips, but the focus will be on primary weapons.

We won’t count the Joker perk for equipping a second primary, since everyone plays differently, but we consider the Joker for an additional perk far more useful. Moreover, we always recommend filling the slots for two pieces of equipment with Stimshots (two instant heals) and Semtex (sticky grenade), while the perfect tactical equipment is Concussion, which releases gas that slows enemies and deals additional damage.

Jackal PDW loadout: Run as fast as you can

Jackal

Everyone who participated in the Black Ops 6 closed beta is already familiar with the Jackal PDW, which boasts excellent mobility with outstanding handling and great aim down sights. In short, you have two choices: equip our loadout to run wildly across the map without stopping or get the Jackal from the Vault edition to quickly destroy everything.

For the first option, equip CQB Grip, Ranger Foregrip, and Compensator. If you enjoy this weapon and it becomes one of the best Black Ops 6 weapons for you, upgrade it to level 41 to get the Short Barrel and Balanced Stock to focus on your accuracy and improving TTK!

For perks, take all red ones, such as Assassin, Dexterity, and Double Time, to gain the bonus perk Enforcer. With this, your rampage will be unstoppable, thanks to the increased speed and enhanced regeneration for taking down enemies.

C9 loadout: Fast-paced face-to-face combat mode

C9

While the Jackal is suitable for medium distance but weaker at close range, the C9 does the opposite. Essentially, with the C9, you should always be running and staying as close to enemies as possible to easily take them down. This is possible thanks to its high damage, fast aiming, and tolerable recoil.

So, what attachments should be made to one of the best Call of Duty Black Ops 6 weapons? We recommend equipping Long Barrel, Infiltrator Stock, CQB Grip, and Recoil Springs. For perks, use the same as with the Jackal. This ensures you’ll have a fast character with amazing TTK, leaving your opponents with no chance at close range!

Ames 85 loadout: Jackal’s twin brother

AMES

As we already mentioned, Jackal has been nerfed, and now it’s not as good as you wanted it to be. However, you can try Ames 85, which is literally an Assault Rifle that tries to be SMG. That said, keep in mind that it has some TTK issues, but in every other aspect, it excels Jackal.

So, you can equip it with a Rapid Fire mode attachment to improve its TTK. In terms of other attachments, try a Ported Compensator, Reinforced Barrel, Quickdraw Grip, and Vertical Foregrip to make it more reliable in any situation given. If you want to play with it, like with Jackal, then get red perks, but you can try green ones like Flak Jacket, Dispatcher, and Gearhead to get Strategist to become a walking machine that can easily earn points, scorestrikes and get less damage while you to see enemy’s content through walls.

AK-74 loadout: Perfect TTK version

ak-74

Some may argue that there are better Assault Rifles, but the AK-74 is the best in terms of TTK. Yes, it’s hard to master, but once you do, you become unstoppable on any map, whether long or medium range. Small maps could be challenging with AK-74, but even there, you can find strategies to use it effectively.

The AK-74 is not for fast-paced gameplay. It requires a more tactical approach, allowing you to feel like a real soldier, moving across the map and destroying everything in your path. To make this the best Assault Rifle in the Black Ops 6 beta, we need to reduce recoil as much as possible with the Ported Compensator, Recoil Springs, and Vertical Foregrip. For better accuracy, equip the Volzhskiy Reflex optic, which will at least make aiming more convenient. Since it doesn’t have many bullets, you can equip any desired magazine.

For perks, make sure to equip blue perks like Ghost, Forward Intel, and Cold Blooded for radar and anti-detection. With these, Recon will be available, giving you wallhacks upon spawning for a short time and notifying you via HUD if enemies are out of your line of sight but can see you.

LR 7.62 loadout: One-shot monster

SL

You don’t like Sniper Rifles in Call of Duty? Give the LR 7.62 a chance! In the right hands, it can be one of the best meta weapons in the Black Ops 6 beta.

LR 7.62 can one-tap an enemy, even in the body, which is overpowered, to say the least. We recommend using the Quickdraw Grip and grinding this weapon until level 43. Afterward, you can equip Reinforced Barrel, Fast Mag, Rapid Fire, and Infiltrator Stock, allowing you to make it even more accurate and faster to use. Like that, you’ll have the best Sniper in the Black Ops 6 beta. Of course, the blue perks from the AK-74 will play an important role here.

Marine SP loadout: Close-range gambling winner

Marine SP

On Strike maps, sometimes only one shot can completely change the game. This is especially true on the Pit map, where the Marine SP is a must-pick and could even be one of the best guns in the Black Ops 6 beta for some!

This shotgun has a high chance of one-shotting an enemy, and if your aim is good, it’s almost a 90% chance. Overall, it’s a really fun gun to use, allowing you to take down enemies quickly. Just unlock and equip Balance Stock, Long Barrel, Steady Aim Laser, and Xten Modifier Choke to have fun at first. After upgrading this gun to level 30, equip Rapid Fire mode to increase the rate of fire to the maximum on the Marine SP. In terms of perks, go full red (Assassin, Gun HQ, Double Time) to get Enforcer and become unstoppable!

Final words on best meta weapons in BO6 beta

There you have it! Now you know how to dominate in the Black Ops 6 open beta when it becomes available to everyone on September 6. See you soon!
