When will new Brawl Stars Ranked Season start?

New Brawl Stars Ranked Season will start on February 25, just when the next update is going to be released. Future Ranked Seasons timings will now start on the third Thursday of every month. For example, the second Ranked Season after these changes will start on April 17 (the third Thursday of April).
Major Brawl Stars Ranked game mode changes

Supercell wants Brawl Stars Ranked update to make this game mode more challenging, adding new heights to conquer:
- The most skillful players will now be able to reach Pro rank. This rank is a new cap and follows the Master rank. This tier will now open an ability to compete for getting into Brawl Stars esports.
- The elo inflation problem was heavily worked on, removing Floor Protection for some ranks, elo gain and loss increase, and high-different team-ups removed.
- Matchmaking was also improved, making queues faster for lower ranks and more fair and strict for higher ones. For example, the elo range will no longer increase during longer queues. Players will also no longer get dropped to Bronze 1 every ranked reset and will only be depleted by six minor ranks from the current one.
- With these new Brawl Stars Ranked updates, modifiers are being fully removed. However, the developers promised to add something new to the game soon to make it more fun and refreshed.
- Gadgets can now be used multiple times and receive cooldowns (from 7 to 30 seconds). Important: This change will be amplified to all game modes, not just Ranked.
Supercell has announced many other big and small updates. However, these are the most important Brawl Stars Ranked changes we are going to see very soon:
New Ranked progression system and Pro Pass
Pro Pass is a new progression system we are going to see once Brawl Stars Ranked rework appears on live servers. This pass will differ from Brawl Pass since it will last four months. However, it also has free and paid tracks, so anyone can find something for themselves. Pro Pass will be related to the most important esports events like Brawl Cup, Last Chance Qualifier, and World Finals. All of this means we are going to see three Pro Passes in total each year. To progress in Pro Pass, you have to succeed in Brawl Stars Ranked games after the rework.
New Pro Skins

With the release of Brawl Stars Ranked changes, players will be able to get new Pro rarity skins. These can be upgraded up to 11 times, rewarding you with improved visual effects, spawn animation, cosmetics like Brawl Cards, profile pictures, and more!
New Brawl Stars Ranked game modes
Another aspect of Brawl Stars Ranked changes is that new Ranked game modes will be featured every month. Supercell is still experimenting with this topic, and we will see how things go. First, a new game mode will be tested, and if it becomes competitively approved, it will be added to the Ranked. The first game mode we are going to see in this new way is Ranked Cleaning Duty mode (Jelly Catch typo game mode). The following new Ranked game mode for Brawl Stars might become Brawl Hockey (but not 100%).
Free Maxed Brawlers for Ranked each new Season
Now, in every new Season, three maxed Brawlers can be played in Ranked mode for free. This is indeed one of the best quality-of-life improvements that are coming with this Brawl Stars Ranked update. All of this means you can try various new Brawlers at their maximum strength every Season.
Brawl Stars Ranked drops changes
All Ranked Skins from previous Ranked Seasons will be available and remain in Ranked Drops. Players can now also receive other cosmetics like pins, sprays, profile pictures, etc., from Ranked Drops. Eight months after the new Pro Skin release, you will also be able to get Pro Skin upgrades from Ranked Drops. Last but not least, the Pro Pass experience will also become a possible reward in new Ranked Drops.
New Brawl Stars Ranked changes to visuals
Battle Cards and Ranked Tiers can now be collected and will receive many visual improvements and customization options. Here are some examples of this update:

Final thoughts on Brawl Stars Ranked game mode rework
This Brawl Stars Ranked rework will bring absolutely massive changes to the game. We hope all these new features will positively affect players at all ranks. However, we have to wait for this big update to come to decide whether it was a good job for developers to perform these changes. For now, if you face any significant difficulties, you can rely on Brawl Stars boost as an alternative.
