Brawl Stars next update leaks and speculations

With the next Brawl Talk coming soon, let’s talk about all the information we have on the Brawl Stars next update: new brawlers, hypercharges, skins, collabs, and more.

Brawl Stars next update leaks and speculations

As we come close to the next update in Brawl Stars it is time to discuss what we already know about this update. Let’s look at everything Supercell has been hinting at as well as leaked info we have about the new update.

Brawl Stars next update new brawlers

For now, there is no official information about who the new brawlers might be. However, looking at the past updates it is safe to say we are getting 2 new brawlers. We expect one brawler to come out relatively soon in late August or early September. The other brawler will most likely be released in October.

It is speculated that the new characters will join Castle Trio and Circus Trio respectively. However, this is not a 100% prediction because the Castle trio was already skipped twice in the brawler release schedule.

Brawl Stars next update new hypercharges

Currently, we expect 6 to 7 new hypercharges to be released during this update. Unlike the new brawlers, however, Supercell leaked 2 or 3 hypercharges in their recent video.

The video is unrelated to the update event. However, the community has spotted some changes in the gameplay shown in the video. If you look at the shown gameplay you can notice that Mortis and Poco now have supercharges.

But that is not it for the hypercharges as developers are also possibly hinting at a Darryl Hypercharge. As you can see Darryl was shown in this video too, however, he was on the main menu. The developers conveniently didn’t show the full picture as brawlers with hypercharges have hypercharge icons above their heads. The fact that we can’t see above Darryl’s head has led players to speculate that it might be a hint that Darryl will also receive a hypercharge.

Braw Stars Next Update Brawler Nerfs

Another detail noticed in the previously mentioned video is the apparent nerf to Meg. Meg has been dominating the current Brawl Stars meta, as highlighted in our Brawl Stars Tier List.
As expected Meg is getting nerfed now, as people spotted her damage in the video was lower than normal.

Brawl Stars Next Update Collabs

There has been some hint about new collabs coming soon to the game. Supercell has been giving different hints for a SpongeBob collab. From in-game profile cards to video easter eggs, we have seen different SpongeBob-related content.

There is also a possible collab with a famous actor and wrestler John Cena. He has posted the Brawl Stars logo on his Instagram page and has been spotted filming a video or an ad related to Brawl Stars.

You can read more about those collabs in our SpongeBob collab overview.

Brawl Stars Next Update Themes

There is no official confirmation of the new updated themes. However, this update is predictable as it falls on 3 important events. Firstly we will have a Chinese Moon Festival Event with some skins and possible rewards. Then we will be right in the Brawl Stars World Finals as we will watch the Esports Tournament unfold. After that, we can expect the Brawl-o-ween, a theme we see every year centered around Halloween.

Brawl Stars Next Update Skins

It is safe to say that we will get tons of skins in the next update. The question is what will those skins be? Well, we have a bunch of skins that can come in this update.

Dragoon Belle

As the contest winner for a new Belle skin, Dragoon Belle is coming soon. It is safe to expect the release of the skin sometime during the next update lifetime.

Hypercharge Mortis Skin

Now to more speculation, we have the Hypercharge Mortis skin. The main idea is that because Mortis will get a hypercharge we can expect a new skin to come with it. Unlike Poco who also will be given a hypercharge, we at least have a possible look at the Mortis skin that is coming with this update.
The community has recalled that Mortis had some skin concepts featured in a skin vote a long time ago. If Supercell didn’t drop those skins we may expect one of those skins to become official soon.

Moon Festival skins

An upcoming Moon Festival in China will be in Brawl Stars. It has become a tradition to celebrate some of the holidays by making skins and theme updates for the game, and Moon Festival is one of them. Players can expect two or even three skins themed around the festival.

Sponge Bob Collab Skins

As we already talked about the SpongeBob Collab. There is a speculation that we might get skins related to the show. There is no official confirmation yet.

And this is it for the upcoming patch information we know so far. There is more info coming as we get closer to Brawl Talk, so stay tuned for the updates and our Brawl Talk overview.
