Seemingly out of nowhere, Supercell started giving us hints about a potential Brawl Stars SpongeBob collab. There is now a lot of information we can speculate on. Let’s look at the hints and leaks for this collab and try to understand when it will happen and what it will bring.

On August 1, the official Brawl Stars YouTube channel posted an animated video. It does so often so it’s not some exceptional case. The animation was underwater-themed and featured water-related characters with Clancy included.
There is nothing special about the video until you see the last few seconds. The camera appears to go underground, and then we see another place that looks a lot like Bikini Bottom. There is also a laugh at that moment that reminds people of SpongeBob’s laugh.
The main features of the city can be seen clearly. The Big Anchor, a turbine, and weirdly shaped houses. Also in the sky, you can see the same floral pattern. The last thing noticeable in this teaser is the jellyfish. Although jellyfish are not present in Bikini Bottom itself, they live near the city and the main characters of the show often hunt them.
Brawl Stars SpongeBob collab is already in the game
It is widely known that Supercell uses bot accounts to make it seem like there are a lot more people playing. This is mostly present at low levels. Those bots have randomized profiles. As you can see in the tweet below, this player met a bot account that uses a new Battle Card with an M logo.
Fans of SpongeBob can quickly recognize this belt. It is the belt of a character in the series called Mermaid Man. He is a sort of superhero in the universe.

However, whether it will be released in the next update or later is still unknown.
