Brawl Stars Angels vs Demons season is potentially the most exciting season Brawl Stars has had so far, with more stuff than the recent SpongeBob collaboration. In this article, we will explain all the details about the new Angels vs. Demons Season, including rewards, skins, game modes, abilities, and more.
Brawl Stars Angels vs Demons season start date
The start date for the Brawl Stars Angels vs Demons Season is set to be on November 7. The Season will end on December 4.
Brawl Stars Angels vs Demons: Angel and Demon Starr Drops
Every day you log in during the season, you randomly join the Angel or Demon side. Sometimes, you will be able to decide your side. Depending on your side, you can gain Angel or Demon Starr Drops. They will replace normal Starr Drops for the duration of the season. You will have to hold the Starr Drop to open it. The rewards will be decided by how long the circle behind the Starr Drops is going. The longer it takes to finish, the better the reward will be.
Both Starr Drop versions will have basic rewards, including Coins, Bling, Power Points, Brawl Pass XP doublers, Gems, Starr Powers, Gadgets, Hypercharges, Brawlers, skins, and pins. The only difference will be the themed skins. Angel skins will only drop from Angel Starr Drops, and Demon skins will only drop from Demon Starr Drops. So if you want to get a specific Angel or Demon skin, it is better to maximize the Starr Drop gain while you are on the side of that skin.
Popular YouTuber Rey was given early access to the update by the developers. He opened 500 Angel and Demon Starr Drops in his video to test which one is better. Although in his video, the rewards from the Angel Starr Drops are better, it does not mean that they are better. The drop rates are the same, so you might have more luck with the Demon Starr Drops instead.

Brawl Stars Angels vs Demons season: abilities
Like in the SpongeBob event. Angels vs Demons season has different abilities for players to explore. They will only be available in some modes. The modes that have them active will have an icon on them to show you where they are.
There are 6 abilities for each side. You gain abilities by opening Angel or Demon Starr Drops. The first ability will open with your first Starr Drop. But then the requirement will be higher each time. To open every ability on one side, you must open 58 Starr Drops from this side. The abilities you get are random each time, so it is possible not to get the ability you want until much later in the season, so it is advised to understand every ability.
Angelic abilities
- Blessed Barrier: Builds a temporary shield each time you deal damage. This shield grows with continued damage, eventually reaching high durability if you avoid getting hit. It’s a great choice for solo play since it doesn’t benefit from additional angelic teammates.
- Rebirth: Grants you one last chance upon death, knocking enemies back, making you immune for a moment, and leaving you at 1 HP. If you’re defeated again shortly after, you’ll die, but the ability refreshes each time, offering another life-saving shot.
- Smite: Releases beams of light every few seconds that both damage and slow enemies around you. Though the individual damage isn’t high from afar, multiple hits can rack up significant damage, especially in close range. This ability works well without angelic teammates, ideal for when you’re in solo or random teams.
- Radiant Touch: Heals allies around you every time you deal damage, forming a soothing aura that grows stronger with additional angelic allies. It’s somewhat comparable to Poco’s “Tuning Fork” gadget but can create a stronger healing aura in the presence of angelic teammates.
- Ascension: Grants a flat movement speed increase with no additional requirements. This boost can be amplified with more angelic teammates, making it incredibly useful in modes where speed is critical, like Brawl Ball.
- Seraphim: Summons an angelic healing ally every time a teammate dies. This ally heals you and nearby teammates, and if an angelic teammate is defeated, it becomes even more powerful. These allies persist, potentially allowing for multiple healers on the field, creating a powerful support force for your team.
Demonic abilities
- Revengeance: Triggers when you’re defeated, dealing massive damage in an explosion that impacts nearby enemies. It also leaves a damaging pool on the ground that deals persistent damage over a short duration. Though easy for enemies to avoid, it forces them to avoid the area, adding a strategic edge.
- Demonfire: It spawns a fire trail following your steps. The damage from a single fire is small, but it can stack, forcing your enemies to be careful. You can also stack it by spinning it around to quickly destroy things like the Heist safe.
- Siphon: When you hit an enemy, you gain energy that heals you and your Demon teammates. While the healing amount isn’t massive, it’s cumulative, especially useful for keeping up momentum in modes with frequent skirmishes.
- Gluttony: Each time you kill an enemy, a power cube will spawn. The power cube spawns under you so you can hit enemies from afar without the fear of giving the power cube to your enemies.
- Fury: Boosts your movement speed temporarily each time you deal or receive damage. This is great for navigating the map quickly, especially in game modes where positioning is critical.
- Conjuring Chaos: Summons an Imp ally each time you defeat an enemy. This Imp fights by your side, damaging nearby enemies. Like the angelic allies, multiple demon allies can be summoned, creating a menacing force that adds pressure to the opposition.
Brawl Stars Angels vs Demons Season: game modes
Spirit Wars — 3v3 battle mode lets players summon Spirits by collecting Amulets scattered around the map. The goal is to summon up as many Spirits as possible and lead them to destroy the enemy’s turret or cause maximum damage. Each summon grows stronger, making every Amulet count in this battle of spirits!
Trio Showdown — the Trio Showdown mode is making a comeback. Developers think it was received very well and want to make this mode appear more often. If you have missed the SpongeBob season, the trio showdown is a version of a Showdown with 3 players in the team.
