Destiny 2 X The Witcher Collaboration Is Announced

Since last year, Bungie has been hosting almost every season of Destiny 2 with various collaborations with other famous IPs. This year, players have already seen Among Us and PlayStation collabs. With the release of Season of the Wish, players will be delighted with an unexpected collaboration with The Witcher franchise.
The Witcher Cosmetics
The official press release confirms that fans of Geralt of Rivia can purchase sets inspired by him, as well as a Ghost shell, ship, Sparrow, emote, and finisher. Unfortunately, other cosmetics were not fully shown, but you can notice the appearance of your Ghost partner near the shoulder of the Titan.
Free Witcher Emblem in Destiny 2
Bungie revealed that fans will have a chance to earn a free emblem with a School of the Wolf medallion on it. As always, players must solve an intricate puzzle to achieve the desired reward, which you can read more about below:
Fans’ Reaction
The fans’ initial reaction was quite positive, as the armor sets look stunning and even prompted considerations about purchasing them:
However, the community’s joy was short-lived. The main issue is that this is still a paid collaboration, and players won’t be able to get anything from it except for the free emblem previously mentioned. Moreover, a fan wanting to buy one set for one class would cost $20, which is more expensive than the entire Witcher trilogy or The Witcher 3 with all DLCs:
