Patch 11.2.7 overview

Patch 11.2.7 sets the stage for the Midnight pre-patch and the expansion’s launch. Housing takes center stage, but there’s plenty more packed in. New events, catch-ups, and features aimed at giving every type of player something to dig into before Midnight arrives.
Player’s Housing release

The big highlight of Patch 11.2.7 is Housing arriving early ahead of Midnight. Player Housing has been one of the most-requested features in WoW, and it’s launching with decoration sets spanning the entire game: from classic Vanilla themes all the way to Worldsoul Saga.
Note
Only players who pre-order Midnight expansion will receive early access to the Housing system.
Housing gives you a new long-term progression path, encouraging you to revisit old zones, chase achievements, and complete past questlines to collect more cosmetic items. We already have two guides ready: one covering the Housing system itself, and another detailing decorations you can start collecting before launch. Let’s start decorating!
Brawler’s Guild

The Brawler’s Guild is returning in patch 11.2.7. You’ll be heading back into Brawl’gar Arena in Orgrimmar or Bizmo’s Brawlpub in the Deeprun Tram to climb the ranks, face new and returning fighters, and prove you’ve still got the chops. Brawler’s Guild will release on December 9.
There’s also a hint towards new quest-line and 2 new mounts coming to Brawler’s Guild. For more information, you can read our separate guide:
Turbulent Timeways

Turbulent Timeways returns for its fourth run, landing right with the Patch 11.2.7 release (From December 2 to February 10). As a reminder, the last cycle ran weekly for seven weeks, rotating Timewalking dungeon pools with bonus XP, upgraded loot, and a fresh mount reward.
This time we also get Shadowlands in the Timewalking rotation for the first time. Six dungeons will be available: Necrotic Wake, Spires of Ascension, Plaguefall, De Other Side, Halls of Atonement, and Sanguine Depths. We will also get the new vendor lineup.
Expect the total of 7 new mounts (4 from Timeways and 3 from Shadowlands timewalking), one battle pet, and two toys to pick up, so get those Timewarped Badges ready.
Pandaren Heritage armor

Here’s a preview of the Pandaren armor. The recolors include Alliance, Horde, and even a neutral option. To collect all three variants, simply level a Pandaren to max level and begin their unique quest line in your faction capital. You receive all three variants, even a Horde Pandaren can unlock the Alliance recolor.
Other features
Here’s what else is coming, in addition to the features already covered:
Lorewalking for Blood Elves and Void Elves
- Lorewalker Cho introduces new story chapters exploring the Scourge attack on Silvermoon, the fall of the Sunwell, and deeper Blood Elf / Void Elf history.
Updated Experiences for New and Returning Players
New players:
- In Patch 11.2.7, new characters now progress from Exile’s Reach directly into Dragonflight.
- This streamlined path follows the modern narrative and includes Story Mode raids on the journey to level 70 and into The War Within.
Returning players:
- A dedicated catch-up flow activates from character select.
- You’ll:
- Jump into the Arathi Highlands with Thrall and Jaina
- Hide outdated quests
- Use Assisted Highlights to refresh rotations
- Relearn Skyriding and interrupts
- Leave fully geared and ready for current content
- You can join or exit this flow at any time.
Fast Expansion recap
- A compressed War Within story recap offers a few hours of key quests and cinematics, taking players from the Isle of Dorn to K’aresh.
- Designed for leveling from 70–80 without needing to play the full expansion.
More improvements are on the way, but these systems alone significantly streamline leveling, story onboarding, and lore exploration.ous Void Elf history ahead of Midnight.
And that wraps up our article! With Player’s Housing arrival, we suggest looking WoW Housing boost.
