The Golden Lotus is an order of elite Pandaren guardians, hand-picked by the August Celestials to protect the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

To begin doing Golden Lotus quests you must be level 90, as well as complete a small quest-chain consisting of Temple of the White Tiger, A Celestial Experience, and A Witness to History These will unlock the access to a brand new zone The Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

Golden Lotus reputation hubs
The quartermaster for Golden Lotus is Jaluu the Generous, both for the Horde side and for Alliance. The coordinates are: Alliance Shrine of Two Moons [63.0, 22.2], Horde Shrine of Seven Stars [84.2, 62.6].
Golden Lotus estimated time for exalted
Considering that you can get approximately 2000 reputation daily with the Golden Lotus, it will take approximately 19 days of doing all possible daily quests to reach Exalted with the Golden Lotus. You might finish a bit faster or slower depending on which daily hubs and bonus quests you receive, but 19 days is a solid average for dedicated daily questing.
Daily quests and reputation sources
As you gain MoP reputation with the Golden Lotus, more daily quest hubs will unlock. Each hub typically offers 4–5 quests. You’ll begin at Friendly reputation, starting with quests at the Golden Pagoda and one additional hub. As you reach Honored and higher, two more hubs become available.
- The Golden Pagoda (Friendly):
Your starting hub. Tasks involve eliminating Shao-Tien Mogu near the northern gate of the Vale. This hub is always available. - Whitepetal Lake (Friendly):
Dive underwater to recover ancient artifacts and defeat enemies along the riverbanks. Always accessible. - Mistfall Village (Friendly):
Help save the village by putting out fires, fighting sprites, and collecting supplies. Always accessible. - Ruins of Guo-Lai (Honored):
Clear out Mogu statues and spiderwebs from these ancient ruins. - Setting Sun Garrison (Honored):
Assist in repelling the Mantid invasion threatening the Vale.
Each day concludes with a final elite quest, which rewards a Treasure of the Vale. These treasures can contain valuable items, including high-level crafting recipes and other useful rewards.

At Neutral:
You’ll begin with the following introductory quests:

- Out with the Scouts and Barring Entry
- Killing the Quilen and Stones of Power
- The Guo-Lai Halls
They are simple to complete and serve more like introductory quests for the faction.
At Honored:
You’ll unlock The Secrets of Guo-Lai, where you explore deeper into the Guo-Lai Halls alongside He Softfoot. Completing this rewards you with a 440 item level ring.
At Revered:
You’ll begin a questline to recover powerful artifacts belonging to the Thunder King before the Mogu can. The final reward is a 463 item level chest piece, such as the Bonded Plate of the Golden Lotus, earned from the quest Battle Axe of the Thunder King.
At Exalted:
The final chapter begins with:
- The Mogu’s Message (speak to Zhi the Harmonious)
- What Comes to Pass (speak to Sun Tenderheart)
- The Might of Three, where you slay 100 Mogu with aid from the Celestials. You’ll receive powerful temporary buffs:
- Wrath of the Jade Serpent
- Fury of the White Tiger
- Strength of the Black Ox
This culminates in The Final Power, a dramatic battle against Zhao-Jin the Bloodletter, where you hurl a spear for massive damage and soar with Wings of Hope, the last Celestial’s blessing.
