What are Black ops 6 Perks?
Perks are passive abilities in Black Ops 6 that enhance your performance during matches. They can make you harder to detect, improve your survivability, or help you secure objectives. With a wide variety of perks available, experimenting with combinations can make your gameplay much more enjoyable and give you the edge in fast-paced combat.
Best Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Perks
Best Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Red Perks
Red or Enforcer Perks focus on aggressive play. They provide you with rewards for killing enemies or provide you resources to kill more enemies. If you select 3 Red Perks, you will receive movement and regeneration speed buffs after killing an enemy.
Bankroll
Bankroll gives you a 150-point bonus toward scorestreaks every time you spawn. When combined with Dispatcher, this perk is particularly powerful, letting you earn streaks like UAVs and SAM turrets with fewer kills or objective captures. It’s a game-changer for players aiming to dominate with frequent scorestreaks.
Scavenger
Scavenger ensures you never run out of ammo, letting you pick up resupply packs from fallen enemies. It’s particularly valuable for those aiming to go on long streaks or using weapons with limited ammo reserves, keeping you active and prepared for extended fights.
This perk was nerfed, and now the resupply packs do not drop as often. This lead some players to rely on assault packs instead. But especially on big maps, it won’t be as useful as the ability to pick up ammo from your enemies, so this perk will still be very useful, depending on your situation.
Gung-Ho
This perk is essential for aggressive players using close-range weapons and SMGs. Gung-Ho lets you reload, throw equipment, and swap weapons while sprinting, all without losing speed. In a game as fast-paced as Black Ops 6, this can be the difference between life and death, allowing you to maintain momentum in chaotic situations.
Best Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Green Perks
Green or Strategist Perks help you with utilities. They can protect you from different enemy utilities or provide buffs for different utilities. If you select 3 Green Perks, you will be able to earn a score bonus for objectives and destroying enemy utilities, see enemy utilities through walls in a short distance, deploy equipment, and field upgrades faster.
Tac Mask
With the abundance of flashes and concussion grenade spam, Tac Mask is a must. It greatly reduces the effects of these disruptive tools, keeping you in control even when enemies try to spam flashes and concussion grenades at you.
The spam is less bad on bigger maps, so you may opt for a different Perk instead.
Flak Jacket
Flak Jacket provides significant resistance to explosives and fire, which is incredibly strong in this game. Whether you’re pushing objectives or holding key positions, this perk ensures that grenades and incendiaries won’t instantly end your life, giving you that second chance.
However, if your playstyle is more careful, you may find this Perk less helpful.
Guardian
Guardian is perfect for objective players, offering faster healing when capturing or defending zones. It essentially gives you a “tank” mode while on objectives, especially when combined with other defensive perks, letting you hold your ground and keep your team in control.
This Perk is only helpful for objective-based modes. You should use another perk instead in any other mode. But in modes where it is useful it is one of the best Perks to have.
Dispatcher
A favorite among objective players, Dispatcher reduces the score needed for non-lethal streaks like UAVs and SAM turrets. If you frequently play modes like Domination or Hardpoint, this perk guarantees you’ll earn streaks more consistently with each life, amplifying your team’s chances of victory.
Keep in mind that this Perk was already nerfed and can receive even more nerfs in the future. Depending on how big the nerf may be, the usefulness of this Perk can drop significantly.
Quartermaster
Quartermaster regenerates both lethal and tactical equipment over time, making it ideal for players who rely on tools like stim shots or grenades. This perk ensures that even during prolonged skirmishes, you’ll always have your equipment ready, giving you a tactical edge. The recharge time is a little bit slower than in previous CoD games, but it is still a great Perk to have.
Best Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Blue Perks
Blue or Reckon Perks work around the information. They either provide more information about enemies or try to hide information about you. When you select 3 Blue Perks, you will be able to briefly see enemies through walls after the respawn. A dynamic edge indicator will alert you about enemies outside your field of vision. You will also not leave skulls after killing enemies.
Ninja
Ninja minimizes your footstep noise, making it harder for enemies to hear you. It’s a crucial Perk for players who prefer to flank or operate stealthily, especially on smaller maps or interior-heavy designs where audio cues are critical.
The only problem is that your footsteps can still be heard, so you must be cautious on bigger maps where there is less noise in one area.
Ghost
Ghost keeps you off enemy UAV sweeps while moving, planting, or diffusing bombs and prevents proximity alarm detection. Ghost offers significant value for players who want to remain undetected, particularly in objective-based modes.
However, the UAV meta forced players to focus on countering UAVs. Perks like Ghost will not be as useful if your team is great at destroying enemy UAVs. So, some may argue that this Perk should not be used.
