In a surprising move earlier today, the Brawl Stars developers shared a cryptic message on their social media channels. This message revealed a puzzle that players need to solve to unlock free Dead Boxes. This means this puzzle is a part of the Dead Game event for the Scary Tales season of Brawl Stars.

Decoding the Brawl Stars Puzzle cryptic message
The cryptic message, which reads, “You want some dead boxes? Yes, then letโs play a game,” hints at a riddle that players must solve to find hidden rewards. The most active members of the community have already started deciphering the clues. The following is a translated version of the message:
“Find the location, if you dare,
Say the secret phrase and find out what’s there!
I knock on your door with a playful surprise,
In costume I come, but not to disguise.
You choose That to give, or perhaps what to play,
For once a year, I visit this way.
With sweets in my bag or maybe a jest,
What am I asking when I make this request?”
If you are wondering how the translation was done, the message was written using Vigenere Cypher. The Cypher is old, and we can solve it easily with modern technology.
In-game updates
Alongside the mysterious message, Brawl Stars updated the gameโs main background. If you refresh the app, youโll notice a crack forming behind the brawler. There is also a new update to the “Do Not Enter” button. Clicking this button reveals a series of new images. These images feature a new location that seems connected to Star Park. The images also appear to include fragments of a QR code.
