A recent leak allegedly unveils not only Tekken 8’s full character roster, but also information about potential guest fighters.
There has yet to be any official announcement regarding this matter from Bandai Namco. However, an intriguing in-game screenshot has provided an early glimpse into what lies ahead. Thus, showcase both returning favorites and some newcomers. The leaked image is reportedly captured from Tekken 8’s character selection menu. Ever since its first appearance on the Internet, it has ignited heated discussions among the gaming community.
This leak follows previous revelations by dataminers from the Modding Haven Discord Server. Their findings within the Tekken 8 Closed Network Test files hinted at a roster of 36 playable characters. Among the impressive array of fighters are long-standing favorites. Namely, Paul Phoenix, King, and Ling Xiaoyu. The leak also hints at fresh faces. Along them are classic characters like Jin Kazama, Bryan Fury, Kazuya Mishima, and some new faces.
Tekken 8 Guest Characters
Game Producer Katsuhiro Harada expressed a different approach to guest characters in Tekken 8. He revealed plans to avoid integrating guest fighters within the initial roster, as was the case with Akuma in Tekken 7. However, enthusiasts may still anticipate guest appearances post-launch.
