In a recent interview with Game File’s Stephen Totilo, Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, affirmed that all games by Activision Blizzard are set to join Xbox Game Pass in the near future. This piece of good news has sparked waves of excitement within the gaming community. After all, many gamers have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Activision Blizzard titles on Xbox Game Pass since Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard in October last year.

Spencer hinted at a future where all released and upcoming games from Activision Blizzard will find a home within the Xbox subscription service:

“Our intent is the full portfolio of games from ZeniMax, Activision Blizzard and XGS—Xbox Game Studios—will be on Game Pass, day one.”

The CEO of Microsoft Gaming acknowledged the ongoing development work needed for the launch of Activision Blizzard titles on Game Pass:

“We’re doing the backend work to make them come to PC and console simultaneously.”

Phil Spencer’s confirmation aligns with Xbox President Sarah Bond’s remarks on the brand’s business in a recent Xbox podcast. Bond stated that all Xbox games are always available on Game Pass. With the integration of Activision Blizzard King, all titles from these companies will be accessible on Game Pass. And Diablo IV will lead the charge as the first Activision Blizzard title coming to Xbox on March 28:
