King Terenas plays an essential role in WotLK. He guided Arthas down the path of light and was a poignant turning point in the story when the fallen prince took his own father’s life. Yet, when Arthas was defeated at the hands of Azeroth’s champions, it was King Terenas who manifested in his spectral form, giving his son one last comfort before he was thrown into the eternal darkness. Until today, it remains one of the game’s most impactful and touching scenes.

However, Boen’s contributions to the entertainment industry extend far beyond his work in World of Warcraft. From 1950, he worked diligently and gifted us with a considerable legacy. He played in many iconic films, including Terminator and Wonder Woman. His voice made our childhood with his roles in many animations like Batman: The Animated Series, Spider-Man, Kim Possible, Justice League, and that’s not even everything. From 1997 to 2017, he participated in countless video games. It’s impossible to list all of his credits. If you’re interested, check it out here.

Although the king has moved on, he will never be forgotten. Our childhood was beautiful and exciting, thanks to him. His legacy will live on. Rest in peace, Earl Boen.
