Marvel Rovals Moon Knight Ultimate bug

Players suspect Moon Knight’s Ultimate is dealing far more damage than intended. According to a detailed analysis by a Reddit user named Sidewaysgts, the ability’s description may either be incorrect or the move itself is bugged.

Here’s the issue: the Ultimate’s description states that each talon attack should inflict 75 damage within a radius of 5 meters. However, testing in the practice range revealed that each talon seems to create two overlapping AoE fields. The first AoE deals 75 damage as described, within the 5-meter radius. The second, unexpected AoE also deals 75 damage but has a larger 10-meter range. This second effect is confined within the casting circle of the ultimate.

Sidewaysgts shared a video showcasing how this works. When the Ultimate was cast on two practice bots. The bot closest to the center took the full 150 damage from the first talon. The bot positioned 9 meters away still took 75 damage from the secondary AoE field.

This potential bug makes Moon Knight’s Ultimate disproportionately powerful in certain scenarios, especially in clustered fights. It’s unclear whether this behavior is intentional or an oversight in coding. The problem might also stem from poorly worded ability descriptions rather than an outright bug.

Fans are divided on whether this is an exploit or an unintentional boost to Moon Knight’s power. Given how this ultimate operates, some players argue that it provides an unfair advantage, while others are embracing it as a happy accident. NetEase, the game’s developer, has yet to comment on the matter, leaving fans to speculate.
