Diablo 4 Season 5 PTR available for download on Battle.net

Exciting news, everyone! Diablo 4 Season 5 PTR is now available for download on Battle.net so that you can test all updates and features before the Season 5 launch!

The Diablo 4 Season 5 PTR runs from June 25 to July 2. Alongside new class-specific Legendary Aspects and Uniques and other changes made to endgame bosses, you can participate in a new questline called The Eyes of the Enemy. This questline takes place after the main campaign and is available for Seasonal and Eternal characters.

But it is not the end! After completing The Eyes of the Enemy, you can access the new Season 5 activity, Infernal Hordes. Once the gates of the Realm of Hatred are unsealed, you will be able to battle waves of monsters for 90 seconds each to earn the Burning Aether currency, which can be used to unlock powerful weapons and rewards. 

After defeating the Hordes, you will confront the formidable Fell Council members in a final showdown. Upon a successful run, spend your Burning Aether currency on Spoils of Equipment, Spoils of Materials, Spoils of Gold, and Spoils of Greater Equipment, guaranteeing items with Greater Affixes.

How to join Diablo 4 Season 5 PTR

Unfortunately, if you use Steam, PTR isn’t available for you. But if you initially bought the game on Blizzard’s launcher, here is how you can join it:

1. Open Battle.net and select Diablo 4 from your games.
2. From the drop-down menu above the Play button, choose Public Test Realm.
3. Once PTR is installed, click Play and enter the game.
4. Create a new Seasonal test character.
5. Enter the game and enjoy your Diablo 4 experience!

If you are a PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate user, you can also access PTR using the same method! Open your Xbox app, then proceed to Battle.net. From there, follow the same sequence as described earlier.
