Eris Morn Actress Is Nominated for Best Voice Performance
The end of the year always means a time of numerous events awarding the best films or games. Destiny 2 was recently nominated at The Game Awards, and now the actress who plays Eris Morn has a chance to win an award!
Morla Gorrondova has been voicing Eris since the release of Destiny 1, and this is her first opportunity to win the Best Voice Performance award for this role. She was nominated at the 2024 Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G) Awards for her splendid voice acting during the Season of the Witch. Besides this, she also voiced the narrator in Moss: Book 2, but this VR title was only nominated for Best Game Audio Presentation, Podcast, or Broadcast.
Voting for the nominees will begin on January 2, 2024, and continue until January 21. We recommend following the G.A.N.G. website so as not to miss anything!
By the way, this is not the only nomination for Destiny 2 at this event. The Lightfall DLC was also nominated for Audio and Dialogue of the Year, Best Audio Mix, Best Cinematic and Cut Scene Audio, and Best Game Trailer Audio. Perhaps Bungie will manage to take some awards, but we will only find out next year.
