Dragonflight Patch 10.1.5 is set to bring a much-awaited quality-of-life vendor update to WoW.
WoW has continuously strived to improve its user interface, especially in Dragonflight. And now, Patch 10.1.5 promises to take it a step further. Not only can players look forward to the return of colors to the UI, but also a new button allows them to trade in all their unwanted items to the vendors. Thus, gamers no longer have to rely on add-ons to escape from the arduous task of having to get rid of the junk one by one.
Previously, the game only provided two buttons for equipment repairs. But in this update, a third option named “Sell All Junk” has entered the chat. It automates the selling of all gray items, streamlining the selling process for a hassle-free experience. As for the appearance, these buttons have received high-resolution icons. Thus, bearing resemblances to the ones introduced in Dragonflight for professions.
The community’s trusted addons like Scrap and SellJunk have offered similar features for years. However, with the latest UI addition, Blizzard is simplifying the process of trading in-game items. After all, add-ons can sometimes break or causes bugs. So having an official feature in the game will ensure better stability. It will also help avoid potential issues caused by third-party plugins.
That said, players are advised to exercise caution when using this new button. Some items classified as junk may hold value to certain people. For example, readable lore books, grey and white items transmog, and other collectibles. So, don’t miss out on unlocking a new appearance or maximizing loot value on the auction house before you decide to dump them all in the vendors’ pockets.
Patch 10.1.5 also brings more than just the vendor update. Infinite Drake Customizations. Dragonriding Cup in Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. Fresh looks for the Warlock’s pets. And more.
