Dragonflight 10.1.5: Farewell, Warlock Glyph of the Observer

With the arrival of Dragonflight Patch 10.1.5, it’s time for the Warlocks to bid farewell to the Observer Glyph.

Dragonflight Patch 10.1.5 promises to bring forth hoards of news and updates, especially for the dark sorcerers and their loyal pets. The developers have introduced various new options for the appearance of Imp, Felhunter, and Felhound. Thus, players are able to further personalize their demonic companions.

However, along with these additions, some changes have been made to existing Warlock pets. Regrettably, one specific customization, the Glyph of the Observer, is set to be removed. As Patch 10.1.5 arrives, players must say goodbye to this beloved feature.

The removal of said cosmetic was made to maintain consistent and recognizable appearances for Warlock pets. This decision ensures that each demon retains a unique silhouette despite its altered appearance. It allows players to better understand which pet does what. Thus, enabling easier recognition and comprehension of each demon’s abilities and strengths.

Parting ways with the Observer may be bittersweet. But it’s a reasonable decision coming from the developers. Besides, the fel-magic users are compensated with many other customizations for their companions. So it’s still a win-win situation. Nevertheless, the Observer will be missed.
