Blizzard has announced that the Pathfinder requirement to unlock flying in Battle for Azeroth zones will be removed earlier than expected. Initially, the curfew was to be lifted in Patch 10.1. However, the company has decided to let players enjoy the sky of Zandalar and Kul Tiras right in Patch 10.0.7. According to their official announcement:

Earning the Pathfinder achievements to gain aerial mobility was initially introduced during the era of Warlords of Draenor. But in recent Patches, Blizzard has cleared both WoD and Legion from this condition. BfA was the final expansion to have such a requirement.

But no matter what, getting the achievement will still be a worthwhile pursuit. As it’s the only way to receive Wonderwing 2.0. After all, the mechanical parrot is one of the coveted prizes in the WoW community.
