Trading Post Will Possibly Appear in WoW Classic
World of Warcraft Classic has been a hit among gamers since its release, bringing back the nostalgia of the original experience. While the title is loved by many, seems like the developers want to improve it more by adding a retail feature: the Trading Post.
According to a video by Scottejaye, Blizzard recently sent out a survey to select Classic community members. Their goals were to gather players’ sentiments on various topics. Among the questions asked, the developers expressed interest in the idea of transferring the retail shop to the classic version.
While adding the Trading Post to WoW Classic may seem like a straightforward process, it’s not without challenges. Blizzard will have to set distinctive rewards and tasks for each version. Especially when, even in Wrath of the Lich King, there are no transmogrification or pet battles. The original WoW had even fewer features, making implementing the Trading Post much harder.
Said feature has performed well in Dragonflight. Thus, it won’t be strange if the game creators may already have some thoughts on how to port it over to the classic world.
