Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph: New Release Trailer, Activities, Dungeon, and Loot
December 6 has concluded the story of Season of Plunder. After testing the players’ patience to its limit, Bungie has released the long-awaited trailer of Destiny 2 Season 19, along with new activities, a dungeon, and lots of exciting loot. Finally earning its official name, Season of the Seraph is ready to run.
THE STORY
As some have already guessed, the primary focus will be on Rasputin. This AI was placed into an engram by Anastasia Bray. As Ana tries to put Rasputin into an Exo body, it will fall to the players to reconstruct the complex AI system.
The Bray’s history and relationship with the Warmind and Rasputin will also be unveiled.
While that, the enemies are preparing for the arrival of a primary antagonist and Calus’s ally: the Witness.
WHO ARE THE SERAPHS?
The Seraphs are agents of special operations authorized by the Vanguard. Having access to the Warmind’s most powerful weaponry, their main goal is to protect the Last City from the Hive God of War. She desires to destroy it by taking control of Rasputin’s weaponized satellite network.
INCOMING ACTIVITIES
The incoming activities are Heist Battleground and the weekly Operation: Archimedes.
NEW LOOT
REVISION ZERO
The latest Exotic will be available on December 20, along with the Operation: Seraph’s Shield. According to Bungie’s description, we finally have an exotic mission. The concept of having multiple catalysts also gets players fired up.

THE MANTICORE EXOTIC
Purchasing the Season Pass will earn you the latest Void Submachine Gun: The Manticore Exotic. Designed explicitly for in-air combat, the Manticore Exotic comes with a blue bar called Antigrav Repulsor. The more damage you deal, the faster the bar charges up and the longer you can stay floating above your enemies.
As long as you are attacking and delivering takedowns, the bar will deplete slower, allowing you to fly for almost the whole encounter. While in your levitating state, your damage will gradually scale up to the cap of 40%.
It’s important to note that if you have the Witch Queen’s Deluxe Edition, then you have already owned the Premium Season Pass.
NEW ORNAMENT SETS
Good news for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla fans: Destiny 2 has collaborated with Ubisoft. The latest ornament set: “Leap into the Light,” is in fashion with the legendary Assassin’s Creed game series. Glance below to see how they look in action.

NEW DUNGEON: SPIRE OF THE WATCHER
On December 9, 2022, the latest dungeon: Spire of the Watcher, will be unlocked at the daily reset. There has yet to be any official information regarding this matter. However, it’s rumored that the dungeon is the home to the Solar-based Exotic bow: Hierarchy of Needs.
There are leaks of what is assumed to be the new dungeon armor. However, bear in mind that this isn’t 100% accurate.
