New Nightfall Adept Weapons Overview

1 min read 0 0

The Season of the Risen, the first of the new Witch Queen expansion, brings back some loot that was stored in the Destiny Vault since the Beyond Light DLC. The weapons that make their ways back this time are Silicon Neuroma, originally dropped from The Pyramidion Nightfall on Io and Duty Bound, from the “Savathûn’s Song” Nightfall on Titan. Since March 15, the Grandmaster Nightfall is available, so these guns as any other new Nightfall weapons, also have Adept versions now.

The Kinetic Sniper Rifle is a great option both for PvE and PvP. It is an Aggressive Frame based Sniper Rifle, meaning it has High damage and high recoil. Backed with Perpetual motion that gives this weapon bonus stability, handling, and reload speed while the wielder is in motion and Demolitionist, that makes kills with this weapon generate grenade energy and by activating grenade ability this weapon reloads from reserves, the Sniper Rifle is a good option for almost any activity. For PvE rolls other great options are Triple Tap and Focused Fury and for PvP Opening shot and Adrenaline Junkie would be suitable choices.

Mags options can suit all playstyles too: there are Extended mag or Appended Mad for PvE and interesting options for PvP experience are High-Caliber or Ricochet Rounds.

Duty Bound, the Kinetic Auto Rifle is an Adaptive Frame based weapon— a well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy. It also will fit any playstyle with aforementioned Perpetual motion perk and traits like Vorpal Weapon, that increase damage against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super active. Clean PvE options are Stats for All, Triple Tap and One for All. For PvP look for rolls with Zen Moment, Steady Hands and Dynamic Sway Reduction.

Magazines have plenty of options too: Accurized rounds, Appended and Tactical Mags are wonderful rolls for any activity.

In the end, we’ve got interesting variations for the well-known weapons that, hopefully, makes them even better and more fun to play with.

Huckleberry out.
