Last Iron Banner in Season 18
The last Iron Banner in Season 18 starts on November 15 and ends on November 22. It rewards you with not only weapons and armor but also with the Iron Lord Title.
THE IRON BANNER EVENT AND HOW TO PARTICIPATE
The Iron Banner is a PvP mode found in the Crucible. It used to be a weekly event, but now it’s available just once a month and twice a season. It arrives at the weekly reset and leaves at the next one, so you must hurry to receive all the prizes.
Any player is qualified to participate without having to purchase anything additional. The only 2 conditions are: you have encountered Lord Shaxx in the free quest “New Light,” and you must speak to Lord Saladin, who is in the Tower Courtyard.
ERUPTION MODE
In Eruption, the more opponents you defeat in one streak, the stronger you become. The highest peak of your power is when you successfully eliminate or assist in the takedown of the fifth opponent and enter the “Primed” state. Other than being able to radiate bright light, you and everyone on your team start to go on the Hunt, receive bonuses, and score 3 points per takedown.
However, being all “Primed” and shining also has its downsides. You will be marked for both teams, meaning your exact position is shown to everyone. A bounty of 3 points shall also hang over your head. And that’s not all. As soon as you enter the “Primed” state, a timer of 15-second will start ticking. Once it’s over, you’ll erupt. Your streak is reset, and the Hunt ends.
There is a way to avoid this bitter fate, however. The timer shall reset if you defeat an opponent during those 15 seconds of fatality. You can continue being “Primed” for another 15 seconds. Continue the cycle or erupt and end the streak. It depends on you.
There can be more than one “Primed” player. You simply need to reach the fifth takedown.
